COVID19 Scare!!
The adrenaline rush experienced by this pandemic is underrated as social distancing is the new vibe, hand washing, sanitizing, vitamins intake are at the peak of the season and homeschooling has taken a new twist for parents who never saw it coming. As we grapple with the thought of so many positive cases and deaths across the globe, we dare not take a subtle approach towards the precautionary measures hitting the headlines every minute of the day. COVID19 is here and it is real; for those persons who are still in ‘panic mode’ to realize it. The people it hits are the elderly with underlying health conditions with young children known to only have flu like symptoms but will be the carriers from which adults will contract it. This virus has injected panic in everyone worldwide as persons swarmed their local drug stores, markets and supermarkets to ‘hoard’ on the basic necessities that they think will last them for weeks and possible months to come. Some have fallen on the bad end of this ‘panic buying’ as by the time they get to shopping, shelves were already stripped of their items. Self quarantining yourself and your family is of vital importance at this time. Working from home might seem difficult at first but it is indeed the safest option we have. The world as we knew it is evolving as we fight to beat this magnifying virus that came out of ‘nowhere’. Who to blame? they ask. But at this time the ‘blame game’ will
not combat this virus that has no known cure at this point. There’s absolutely no time for that. The Bible speaks of the ends of time and for many of us this may seem to be a portion of it. Joshua 9:1 reminds us that God is in control despite our circumstances. He was in control before this pandemic and he will continue to take charge. He will continue to make His move. At this point our faith should be multiplied and all fear subsided in order to see the works of our God.
So wash and sanitize those hands and your surroundings, stay in the know of updates but most important let God take COVID19 UNDER CONTROL
